I wonder...

I know we have already chosen that Dessy dress for Wils but I've been thinking maybe we should look for something more suitable. By that I mean cheaper, we are doing everything on a budget for this wedding and although the dress is only £170 in comparison to everything its quite hefty. For example I wouldn't dream of spending that on my own outfit. Anyway I have found this dress from Olivia Mae and its a much better colour, more of a pastel yellow I'm not sure of the price but they are having a 50% sale so could be worth a look. Its a bit more conservative i think understated and whimsical I prefer it.Add Image

I love this

After looking at the obvious online stores for 'off the peg' bridesmaid dresses, bhs m & s and debenhams. There are some lovely ones really cheap but not in Kasey's size. I have found one on BHS Bridal that I love its not exceptionally cheap and is more expensive than the original dress we liked but I looked at that dress last night and was not overly keen. This one is gorgeous and is ivory and blue which is great. Anyway here it is...

make your own cufflinks

click pic for link
saw this on etsy and thought how simple it would be to make your own cufflinks - a scrabble tile, paper or fabric to cover, epoxy glue, and cufflink findings (found some on ebay for 99p!)

actually you could use anything flat and doesnt have to be square - i could cover them in the same fabric as the ties. woohoo more things to make!

Dress for a Munch?

Munch saw this lush dress in Perfect Wedding Mag. Its Mori Lee and its stunning. Even if we dont get the exact one we could have something similar made. Its under the heading of Informal Brides which is the statement we want to make.

Maid of Honour dress

Think this might be the dress as all three of us love it, there is a local stockist and its £180 which is probably about an average price...take a look! Its Dessy of course I love Dessy dresses!

For Munch

Found this thought you might find it useful. It was on 2000 if you click on her page at the side you can see her talking about it but here is the link on how to make ties I think it looks pretty complicated.

Don't mess with my tutu

OK so I know I said I'd look ridiculous in a dress but I've been thinking, what about something really funky. At the moment the plan is for me to wear high waisted grey trousers and a pale blue shirt, which I am happy with, but at the same time I cant help thinking we are having a pretty unusual day and munch is wearing a prom style dress which is going to be v funky. So it would be cool to carry on the theme, also I'm going to be skinny so I would be able to show my sexy figure off. Anyway just an idea but here is a pic of what I'm thinking about, only in our pastel colours.

Curiouser and curiouser said alice

Been thinking about the Alice dress all day. I'm wondering about the original dress we wanted for Kacey white with net skirt. It could just have a blue sash so its more of a 'take on' rather than in your face...Hmmm. That one is sixty quid though!

The Dress

If i'm going to wear a white dress, which i've got to admit i was dead against to begin with then it would have to be a prom syle affair with a bit of katy perry inspired style maybe? I've fallen in love with this dress from Candy Anthony but since its couture i think i can just dream on!

simple budget jewellery

Kels reading Wedding Ideas magazine and has spotted a lovely simple bracelet from Aliya Rose. Could be a nice pressie for Wilsie.

Wrist Watch!

Munch likes the idea of wrist corsages for the girls here is more from Martha on how to make these ones

Cute Idea

I saw these flower rings on Martha, they are recommended for bridesmaids but might even be nice for us. Or we could make them for all the girls in the main wedding party so they feel included.

Curiouser and Curiouser

We have finally found a theme, Munch got inspired by a magazine (one of the 5 we have recently bought. Its under wraps at the moment but look out for the clues! This has totally made things come together now we have the colour scheme we have our outfits designed and decided upon, the sort of food we are going to have our favours, its all coming together. I love it so excited cant stop thinking about it all the time its just too much.
