Aubergine & Olive Mood Board

I know i said I'd do spots and flowers next but i couldn't do it! What i really wanted to do was incorporate this aubergine & olive with a spotty cake in the same colours and some more rustic outdoorsy locations but i couldn't find anything suitable. For now i have drawn the cake that we are thinking of and that'll have to do!

Munch's creations

Del has just bought home an invite which she has designed and loads of cake ideas so exciting...Also how about we drive ourselves to Menai straights then meet the boat there and arrive and leave via the boat from Plas Newydd just an idea that i know i just disregarded but that is going to happen so often I'm afraid dear blog you will have to get used to it. Have to go now we are looking after our gorgeous flower girl Kacey.

We did find a lovely couple at the wedding fayre who have a card shop in Alsager that are making up some samples for us but it might be fun to make our own. It depends on costs cos once you have bought all the card and bits and bobs it may just be cheaper to buy them complete.
Also going to enter competion for some as mentioned on snippet and ink.

Liscence to drive

Ok just a quick thought re the wedding car. I just went to drop off Caits bday card and Bri's car was in the drive and i thought...we are supposed to be saving money so why am i thinking about spending so much (well i dont know how much as it is impossible to get a blooming price from anywhere) when there is sexy new audi right there and thinking about it auntie christine has an audi tt i mean we know plenty of people with money and therefore hot cars so i guess the lovely vintage and the sailing boat have to go...

Dots and Flowers

I've been inspired by a few things, this wedding featured on snippet & ink, the invite Kel previously posted and a few dotty wedding cakes I've seen so I'm going to be doing a dots and flowers mood board and I'm going to try to incorporate the greens and purples if possible starting with this pic from the wedding i just mentioned.

New Colour Idea?

Kel, what do you think of mixing up our colour ideas - aubergine and chocolate /pink and green to make aubergine and green? The main colours could be neutrals - browns and creams with accents of aubergine and olive? what do you think? I was just thinking about the aubergine scheme and thinking that it works at Plas Newyyd coz its formal and a bit glam but then does it work at the BBQ which would be more rustic and outdoorsy and maybe crafty and homespun? The BBQ would suit green more so then thought about tying the 2 together? god knows how tho, so will do a bit of research tomorrow and try to do my own mood board and not just copy snippet & ink!
